Hillary's campaign has taken the "experience" cheer to the point where it has little meaning. The more her campaign talks, the less substance seems to come forth, and the more she feeds into the momentum that is carrying Obama right to the nomination.
Let's talk about real experience:
Elections:
Hillary: 2
Obama: 5
Years in Legislature:
Hillary: 8
Obama:11
Years Living in State before being elected to U.S. Senate seat in that state:
Hillary: less than 1
Obama: 12
Bills Introduced that Became Law:
Hillary: 0
Obama: 3
Hillary's experience is more about fundraising, policy talk, and hoping that her universal health care bill somehow gets passed despite being shot down numerous times before. Obama hit the ground running in the Senate, and has accomplished more in his first term than Hillary has in twice the time and with her politicial connections from 8 years as First Lady. How can anyone believe that Hillary's "experience" is going to get anything done when she is the leader of the free world with a mountain of responsibilities that she has never faced before when she can't even get legislation passed when it is her full time job to be a legislator?
Obama gets things done, and has proven it in the U.S. Senate as well as the Illinois Senate, where his list of accomplishments is long and distinguished.
I am tired of Hillary touting her time as First Lady of Arkansas and the U.S. as "experience" and her parading her universal health care plan around like it's a holy tome when no one will vote for it.
